Rebecca Roberts

Water Quality Program Associate

Rebecca joined CMSF in 2024 as a Water Quality Project Associate. Rebecca contributes to CMSF’s interdisciplinary approach to improve marine ecosystems by collaborating with growers, researchers, and technical assistance providers on projects to minimize pollution from land to sea, with an emphasis on agriculture (i.e. plastics, nutrients, pesticides, and greenhouse gases). She will network with agricultural partners to promote and spread awareness of agricultural best management practices related to water quality.
 

Rebecca has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from CSU Monterey Bay (CSUMB), where her research focused on the co-management of food safety and environmental sustainability in the Salinas Valley. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, Technology and Policy and a minor in Biology from CSUMB.
