Becca Tucker is the Corporate Engagement Director for the Blue Whales Blue Skies (BWBS) Program, where she advances our Corporate Ambassador effort to engage more logistics, freight forwarders, brands and product companies that rely on shipping carriers enrolled in the BWBS program. Becca brings more than a decade of business development experience with a particular focus on renewable energy development, corporate environmental management and communications.  

 

Previously, Rebecca served as co-chair of the Environmental Social Governance (ESG) group, and Director of Natural Resources & Energy Business Development for a nation-wide law firm. Drawing on her background in environmental science, climate change and corporate responsibility, Rebecca provided guidance on emerging natural resources issues and strategic opportunities. 

 

Previously, Becca served as a director at a commercial solar financing company, where she managed partner relationships and led strategy and due diligence. She was also a vice president of investor relations and business development at a solar company in Hawaii. Prior to that, she worked for Clipper Windpower developing utility-scale wind projects in the United States as well as Central Europe. Becca holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Management from the University of Santa Barbara California's Bren School, and a Bachelor’s Degree in U.S. History and Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College.
